5 Reasons to Have a Pickleball Event or Party
Have you been to a pickleball party yet? A pickleball team-building event? A parents night out playing pickleball? If you have, you know how much fun they are - and if you haven’t, maybe you should be the first person in your circle to host one! Be it a big birthday (or any kind of birthday!), a corporate event, a school function, or just a get together with family and friends, we’ve got 5 great reasons why your next special event should be a pickleball event.
Pickleball is fun for everyone! It doesn’t matter if Grandma Esther, little Joey, and everyone in between are all coming to the party - one of the reasons that America is loving pickleball so much is that multiple generations can play this awesome sport, and they can play it together! Talk about team building! What strengthens relationships in the workplace or within the family? Learning new skills or improving existing ones in a super fun environment. Your staff, family, or friends will have a blast playing pickleball together while building mental and physical confidence, bonding over points won (and lost!), and have tons of laughs on the court. And a little friendly competition never hurts either!
And a kids’ pickleball event offers the same benefits, just to smaller people. Your child’s sports team will have a (pickle)ball on the courts together and help to solidify the connections that benefit them on the field, on the diamond, on the turf, in the rink, or in the pool. Field trips to play pickleball will provide movement and learning opportunities outside the school walls. Summer camp groups that spend a day on the courts will come home talking about how they can’t wait to play pickleball again.
